Soft skills for very young practitioners (students specializing in arbitration (LL.M. students) and practitioners with up to 3 years of experience).

ICC YAF: Reading between the lines: the unwritten rules of the junior years in international arbitration

Beginning your career in international arbitration is just as much about finding the right LL.M., the right internships and the right junior positions, as it is about understanding the unwritten rules of the profession. What not to say during an interview? How to raise questions and express an opinion? How to speak to clients? Whether and how to say “no”? How to find a mentor? How to learn about and get the opportunities that are out there?

Take part in an interactive and honest discussion about this and much more with stellar practitioners who have successfully established themselves in the field.

Who should attend?

This event will be tailored to the start and early years of building a career in international arbitration, but all ages are welcome and please watch out for our next session that will be tailored to mid-level and senior practitioners.  This event will be held in English.
